Awards Dinner Honoring Regular Season and Fall Drivers.

The Annual Five Mile Point Speedway Awards Dinner is set for Saturday, February 26th at the American Legion Post 1645 in Binghamton, NY.  Drivers from both the 2021 Regular Season and 2021 Fall Series are invited to the annual dinner.  We do expect this to be a sellout this year.  Please read the entire section below. Please understand that no tickets can be sold at the door as the hall needs an accurate count of attendees. Ticket order forms must be received by us by February 16th.  They can also be dropped at Doug's Speed Shop.

An Open Bar will take place from 5 to 6 p.m. with dinner beginning at 6:30 p.m. Award presentations will immediately follow dinner.  We will be giving away door prizes and we encourage any business or team that wants to donate a prize to notify us.  

We do ask that you wear a tie and sport jacket if even just for the photo presentations. Thank you.

Regular Season Drivers are eligible for both point fund money, trophies and plaques.  There is a complete list of drivers under the "Regular Season Drivers' tab.  Drivers purchase a ticket and attend to receive bonus point fund money.  Trophies and plaques will be available throughout the 2022 racing season.

The Fall Series and Fantastic Five Drivers will be receiving trophies and plaques.  No point fund money was posted for the Fall Series.  We do understand that many teams traveled from a far distance for the four fall races. Again, trophies and plaques will be available throughout the season if you are unable to attend.  The Fall Series Presentations will be the first awards handed out after dinner. 

The dinner buffet style dinner will feature Roast Beef, Ham, Ziti with Meat Sauce, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Scalloped Potatoes and Corn. Salad and dinner rolls will be served prior.  The Post 1645 Ladies Auxiliary will again be preparing the meal and they do an outstanding job.  Be sure to bring your appetite. 

When you send in your ticket form please indicate if you want to sit by another specific team.  We cannot promise but we will do our best to seat you per your request.  Ticket forms can be picked up and paid for at Doug's Speed Shop on Court Street in Binghamton.  Their number is 607-724-5611.  Please make checks out directly to Andrew Harpell.  He is individually renting the Legion for this event.
